Digital Media and Communications owns and operates 3 television channels in Hungary. The company was founded in 2005 by the Finnish media group Sanoma and Hungarian television personalities. Hungary’s leading info-communication company, the Project Group acquired a majority stake in Digital Media in 2014. DMC’s first channel, STORY4 was launched in 2006, while the other two channels, STORY5 and GALAXY started their operation in 2011 and 2016, respectively.
