On the 4th November the Hungarian Association of Electronic Broadcasters (MEME) hosted for the 12th time the biggest and most prestigious event of the Hungarian TV industry, the Big Picture, where we welcomed renowned professionals and decision-makers who play a key role in shaping the development of the industry.
Industry leaders, saleshouses and channels changed each other on the „Big Picture 2025” stage to present the latest trends, programmes and communication strategies for the year ahead.
Adding to the quality of the conference, this year's event featured presentations from renowned keynote speakers such as Henrik Schneider, Managing Director of Nielsen Audience Measurement, who guided the audience through the world of international viewing trends in the light of the transition between traditional and streaming; and Branko Cakarmis, Strategic Advisor at POP TV, who shared his thoughts on the rapidly changing TV consumption patterns.
Of course, this year's conference also included a fascinating and thought-provoking presentation on the impact of artificial intelligence on the industry by Maureen Kerr, Partner at Arthur D. Little consultancy.
The conference also welcomed the BBC Studios team from Central Europe as new participants. Group Managing Director Bartosz Witak was also a big hit on the „Big Picture 2025” stage with an impressive presentation.
We are proud that the feedback we received this year represented a meaningful and high quality event, and we would like to say thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of this year's Big Picture.
See you next year at „Big Picture 2026”!
