On February 19th 2026, MEME (Association of Hungarian Electronic Broadcasters) held its annual general meeting. The membership unanimously voted to re-elect Dr. Csaba Tóth as president of the association for the third time.
Dr. Csaba Tóth is an experienced player in the Hungarian television industry. He began his career as a lawyer: in the early 2000s, he worked as a senior lawyer at an international law firm, where he primarily dealt with media and telecommunications law. From 2009, he served as regional legal director at Chello Central Europe and then AMC Networks Central Europe for nearly a decade.
In 2017, he was responsible for the development of AMC Networks' own content in Central Europe, participating as a creative producer in the creation of several successful educational series, magazine programs, and talk shows. From 2021, he worked on the development of fictional content at Scripted Productions, then in November 2023 he joined the Paprika Studios team, where he is currently responsible for international content development.
Dr. Csaba Tóth has been leading MEME since 2022, and his work continues to be supported by the association's vice presidents, who were re-elected last year: Gabriella Vidus, CEO of RTL Hungary, and Miklós Vaszily, Chairman of the Board of TV2.
With this re-election, MEME's members have reaffirmed their commitment to continuing the organization's professional work and supporting the development of the Hungarian television industry.
