RTL Klub, the national commercial television started broadcasting in October 1997 and is currently the market leading channel in Hungary. RTL Klub is a member of RTL Group, Europe’s leading entertainment network that is present in several countries with 59 channels and 31 radio stations. The company based in Luxembourg is also interested in operating television channels and radio stations besides Hungary among others in Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Spain and Croatia, and it is a producer of popular talent shows, quizzes, dramas and soap operas.
